Winter Activities
From November to April everything in the Alta Badia turns around fun on snow. That’s to say speedy downhill runs in the white Dolomiti Superski area as well as extended walks through deeply in snow covered woods and a rest in local huts. The fantastic scenery is surely Alta Badia’s Highlight.
Skiing area Alta Badia
Fast connections, short waiting periods and well prepared, sunny slopes are the strong points of this region. Being part of the Dolomiti Superski area it also makes it attractive for younger skiers.
Dolomiti Superski Area
120 km of well prepared slopes, fine powder snow and excellent service- between 1400 to 3269 m a.s.l., everyone can find his ideal track. Well known tours like the Sellaronda or the Lagazuoi Skitour and 450 Ski lifts are waiting for you.
Hikes and snow(shoe)walks
There are about 80 km of cleared winter walking trails to chose from. Walk through snow covered woods and enjoy nature at the fullest. Snowshoes, walking sticks, maps and GPS gear can be rent in the place. This way hiking is the ideal alternative for a varied holiday off the slopes.

Cross country skiing
Two Cross country skiing areas convince friends of the Classical style as well as of Skating. The area Corvara-Colfosco comprise 15 km of cross country skiing courses, the Armentarola-San Cassiano area 25km.
Toboggan riders and ice-skaters can also enjoy practicing their activities in front of the spectacular scenery of the Dolomites. And it’s always a pleasure to ride a horse through the snow-covered landscape.
